Kevin Hesch Memorial Project
On April 4, 2023, Kevin was tragically lost in an automobile accident. He was on his way to work for the day like any typical morning, but because of the poor decisions made by another driver, Kevin never returned home that day. He was only 39 years old. This accident has forever altered the Hesch family in the most horrific way possible.
Kevin was a loving husband to his wife Heather, and a devoted father to five beautiful, young children. He was one of the kindest people that you would ever meet with a smile that would instantly brighten your day.
The community rallied together to help Heather and the kids, and tried to provide as much support as possible during this truly heartbreaking time. Heather is one of the strongest people you could ever meet. She talks about Kevin all of the time. She shares stories of him, photos of their memories together, and video clips of some of their most memorable times together.
Heather is keeping Kevin’s spirit alive for herself and for their children, and family. But, she also would like to keep his spirit alive within the community, where Kevin was well-known and loved.

Heather has recently expressed that she would like to somehow commemorate Kevin within Stonington, and continue on her mission to keep his spirit alive. After considering a few different ideas, she decided that she would like to construct a memorial at the local little league field. Specifically, adding a playscape that can be part of this memorial. It would be a fun spot for the children to play while at the field, and at the same time preserve Kevin’s memory.
The baseball field was a place where Kevin would frequently be found, and as his own children continue to play baseball & softball, his spirit will continue to live on at the field. Thank you in advance for your generous donation & for being a part of this special project.
